Outstanding
Faculty Awards Program
The University of South Florida Lakeland Outstanding Faculty Award is presented to one faculty member of the USF Lakeland campus for their exceptional accomplishments, leadership, and service to the USF Lakeland campus and community.
The USF Lakeland Student Government Association initiated the award in the Spring of 2007 and plans to honor an outstanding faculty member each semester.
The award recipient will be selected by a panel of students on the merits and strengths of the following contributions:
• Serving as a role model/mentor/leader for the campus community
• Contributing to the campus, department and/or community at large through research contributions
• Consistently performing his or her job at an outstanding level through innovative, quality teaching
The award recipient will receive a commemorative plaque honoring his/her service to the Lakeland campus. The award is open to all faculty on campus including full-time and adjunct faculty. |
