A successful career in business requires an in-depth understanding of today’s complex global society and its markets and industries. It also requires an appreciation of the changing economic, technical, social, cultural and political environments of business.

USF’s business curriculum helps students comprehend the underlying business principles and develop an ability to analyze and solve problems faced by managers of all kinds – in corporations, small businesses, government agencies and nonprofit organizations.

The USF College of Business provides high quality programs preparing students to contribute to and take leading positions in business and society. All degree programs in the College of Business are fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the major accrediting body for business schools worldwide.

The College of Business curriculum is composed of three segments:
  • A broad liberal arts education developing strong conceptual, analytical and creative thinking skills as well as effective written and oral expression.
  • Course work in business concepts and practices common to all students in the college.
  • Specialized work in a major field of study.
