» Program Schedule
The MBA at USF Lakeland is offered on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings (8 a.m. - Noon). The program is less than two and half years in length and follows a cohort model, allowing a group of students to take all of their coursework together. This model increases the success of our graduates and enhances the learning experience by allowing you and your fellow students to bond and develop a strong support network where you learn and grow together throughout the program.

Management
Success in any organization depends to a large extent on how it is set up and on how the people within it behave. The study of Management addresses these issues at two levels-interpersonally and organizationally. At one level, management and organization examines how and why people (including especially ourselves) behave as we do. This is an area of importance for managers in all disciplines. Management and organization also addresses how the structure of the organization affects the behavior of the people within it, giving emphasis to the factors that affect cooperation, competition, and change.
Marketing
This specialization is an applied program. It provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a customer driven marketplace. Marketing is designed for people who plan to seek employment in marketing and those from other disciplines who want a customer driven focus to their studies. The student will expect to complete the Marketing Concentration with a project portfolio of market driven skills. Students, for example, will be able to perform some or all of the following functions:
- Conduct market analysis
- Conduct market research
- Construct a marketing plan
- Conduct a service audit
- Develop a logistics plan
- Perform a SWOT analysis
- Assess strategic plans
- Perform market segmentation analysis
