Master’s in Counselor Education
Interest Session
LAKELAND,
FL (October 02, 2003) - Interested
in becoming a counselor in the school system or in the community? The
University of South Florida’s Lakeland campus will host an information
session on the Master’s in Counselor Education program Tuesday,
October 28, 2003, at 5:30 p.m. in the USF Lakeland Auditorium. Attendees
will have the opportunity to learn more about the program, fully available
on the Lakeland campus.
Students interested in the Master
of Arts in Counselor Education Program may choose from 3 areas of study within the program. Plan 1 strictly
prepares students for certification in School Counseling. Plan 2 equips
students with knowledge and experience necessary for licensure as a Florida
Mental Health Counselor. Plan 3 prepares students for both areas, allowing
additional career flexibility.
