USF Lakeland offers free Health Screening Expo
LAKELAND,
FL (September 24, 2007) - The University of South Florida Lakeland Rath Senior ConNEXTions and Education Center presents a free Health Screening Expo on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Lakeland Technology Building auditorium. Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited.
A variety of free services will be available, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol screenings, hearing screenings, memory screenings, body fat analysis, patient education, massages and informational seminars, plus music, food and door prizes. Flu vaccinations will be available for $25.
More than 50 health and fitness agencies are scheduled to present information and answer questions.
