LAKELAND,
FL (January 28, 2002) - The
USF-Lakeland campus will be hosting a special Learning in Retirement series
during the month of February. Learning in Retirement, a part of the Elderhostel
Institute Network, is a membership organization of adults who joining
together in a learning community. The Institute is member run and led
with the goals of member growth and personal fulfillment.
The courses to be offered at the Lakeland campus include “Nostalgic
Memoirs: Leave Your Legacy,” with instructor Becky Anderson on Tuesday,
February 5, 12, 19 & 26, from 10:00 a.m. until noon, “Field
Ecology: Experience The Wonders of Nature,” with instructor Dr.
Benjamin Benshadler, MS, Monday, February 4, 11, 18 & 25, from 10:00
until noon, and “Be All You Can Be: Health and Wellness,”
with instructor Dr. Rosemarie Lamm, Wednesday, February 6, 13, 20 &
27 from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
All courses are designed for those over the age of 50 and are offered
at a reduced cost of $25.00 per course. For more information or to learn
