USF Lakeland Offering Saturday
MBA program –
Information Session to be Held
LAKELAND,
FL (Februray 6, 2002) - The
University of South Florida Lakeland campus is proud to announce that
a Saturday MBA program will be offered on their campus beginning August
2002. Accredited by both the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of
Business (AACSB) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
(SACS), the USF-Lakeland Saturday MBA program is the lowest cost, doubly
accredited program available in the area. The program will be taught by
both Lakeland and Tampa campus professors in a lock-step, cohort, style.
Business professionals will have the opportunity to add advanced business
skills to their expertise and still be able to continue regular employment.
Participants coming from all disciplines will be able to complete the
program in a maximum of 57 credit hours (some hours may be waived, depending
on previous qualifications and class size – determined on a case-by-case
basis). The anticipated completion time is around 2 ½ years. Financial
Aid and scholarships are available for those who qualify.
An information session will be held for those interested on Tuesday, February
19, 2002, at 5:30 p.m. in the USF Lakeland Auditorium. The session will
provide participants with information on admission requirements, application
procedures, program information, tuition, financial aid and scholarships.
