Immunization
The state of Florida requires all students under the age of 40, whether
degree or non-degree, full-time or part-time, to present documented
proof of immunity to RUBELLA. All students born after 1956 must also
submit proof of immunity to MEASLES.

Florida Residency
Eligibility for in-state fees: Must be U.S. citizen and prove legal
residency in the state of Florida for the 12 months immediately preceding
the semester for which residency is sought. Two forms of proof required
(driver’s license, vehicle registration, voter registration,
declaration of domicile, etc.), at least one of which must contain
an issue date of 12 months (or more) prior to the beginning of the
applicable semester. If student is a minor and is claimed as a dependent
by a parent, the proof of residency will apply to the parent. In
the absence of acceptable proof of Florida residency, out-of-state
fees will apply. See catalogs for

Privacy
The University of South Florida complies with the Family Educational
Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 as amended (Buckley Amendment)
which gives the students the right to 1) inspect and review their
educational records; 2) Privacy in their educational records; 3)
challenge the accuracy of such records. Further information about
college policy with respect to the privacy of student records may
be obtained from the office of records and registration. Report violations
of FERPA to FERPA; Department of Education, 400 Madison Ave SW, Washington,
D.C. 20202 and / or bring action in Florida Circuit Court for Violations
of Florida Administrative Code Rule 6c4-2.001.
The act permits release of directory information by the College or
University. Directory Information is defined as student name, local
and permanent addresses, email address, major field of study, dates
of attendance, enrollment status, degrees awarded, the most recent
previous education institution attended, and other similar information.
USF may disclose any of these items without prior written consent,
unless notified in writing to the contrary.
