About Teaching and Learning Technologies
Vision
Improving educational experiences and outcomes for all stakeholders
as well as increasing access to learning opportunities
through the integration of technology into the teaching-learning
process and delivery via distance technologies.
Mission
The mission of the division of Teaching and Learning Technologies
is to:
- Provide support, training, production assistance, and pedagogical
(andragogical) support to all faculty teaching courses on the
Lakeland campus and other appropriate staff members (advisors
and student services) in a customer service, student-centered
manner.
- Introduce innovative technologies/teaching concepts to the
campus to increase effectiveness of instruction and enhance
student engagement.
- Facilitate the planning and delivery of distance courses by
providing liaison support for students between off campus faculty
and local needs.
- Provide planning, support, and administration for off-campus
program delivery.
- Collaborate on appropriate committees and disseminate information
on current issues.
- Facilitate grant writing, planning, and delivery in conjunction
with faculty to incorporate instructional technologies into
the research and teaching process.
