Adjunct Resources Hiring Process
line
New Hire:
Your initial contact would be with the Division Director and/or the Division Office Manager or Program Assistant. Once there is a verbal agreement that you are willing to teach a particular course, your qualifications must be verified by our credentialing office in coordination with the department in Tampa.

Arrange for 2 official copies of your graduate transcripts to be sent to:
Rosa D. Walsh
3433 Winter Lake Rd.
Lakeland, FL 33803

Send electronic CV to Rosa Walsh at rwalsh@lakeland.usf.edu

In collaboration with Human Resources, you will receive a letter of offer from your division's office manager. You will then need to make an appointment with Human Resources (863-667-7006, Kim Mitchell) in order to complete your hiring paperwork. Please be sure to being your Social Security Card and Driver's License.

At this point, you will be given the form to request an e-mail account. Once that e-mail account has been set up, it will be forwarded to the Office Managers and they will make sure you receive your account and login information.

Once you have been entered in the GEMS system by Human Resources, you will then be able to go to the registrar's office 863-667-7000 (LTB) to obtain Faculty/Staff ID.

Education Adjuncts

ChalkandWire is used in many of our Education programs for electronic portfolio purposes. Each department has organized the portfolio requirements differently, so it is imperative to coordinate with your Division Director to make sure that you know what is expected of you in regard to portfolio assessment. If you do need to assess portfolios, you can sign-up for your assessor account at http://www.coedu.usf.edu/main/chalkandwire/index.htm#faculty
