Assistance for Students

At the USF Lakeland Writing Center, students receive assistance in targeted areas of writing. The Writing Center Counselor provides one-to-one attention for a particular writing assignment and addresses global and local paper concerns.

To help build the Writing Center, please take a moment to fill out and submit the questionnaire for students.

Assistance for Faculty and Advisor

Faculty and Advisors can refer a student to the Writing Center by filling out the Student Referral form. The student can then make an appointment and bring the referral form to his/her appointment along with materials for review. With the student’s permission, the Writing counselor can send a progress report to the instructor.

Online Writing Lab

Online Writing Lab offers students the ability to access assistance from remote locations. Once students make an appointment, they can email a draft of their paper or assignment along with the draft submittal form that specifies the class assignment.
